Welcome to Beaverton

The scenic gem of Tualatin Valley.

Beaverton is a suburb of Portland, and one of the main economic centers in Washington County and, like Hillsboro, is home to many tech companies that constitute “Silicon Forest.”

Beaverton’s name comes from the town’s proximity to beaver dams. Native American Indians who originally inhabited the area called their village Chakeipi, meaning the place of the beaver. Early settlers called it Beaverdam, a name that eventually morphed into Beaverton. The town experienced significant growth after the end of the Civil War and has since blossomed into a thriving community.

Beaverton is a beautiful city with plenty of housing options, from new construction developments to older homes that have been well-maintained and updated with modern amenities. Five Oaks, Cedar Hills, and Cooper Mountain are some of the best neighborhoods to find luxury properties.

Beaverton is also the home of the famous Nike World Campus, with over 75 buildings, sprawling over 300 acres of ground.
