My partner and I were casually looking to buy a 2nd home and we serendipitously found Roger Paul. We couldn’t have dreamed up a better person to work with! Roger dedication to his customers is apparent in his attention to detail, his follow-up/check-ins, and his vast knowledge of how to navigate in the real estate world. We ended up feeling really enamored by a certain house that we felt was overpriced a little. Roger ran comps and advised us wisely with how to approach our offer. Roger advised us to visit this house a 2nd time during the open house to be sure and he even showed up to represent us to the seller’s agent, which we really appreciated. Roger wrote an amazing offer letter and established a good relationship with the seller’s agent, which helped us to be picked over another buyer. Roger is professional, thoughtful, and extremely competent with his work. You will be in good hands if you work with Roger! Buying a house takes a lot of time. Time spent touring. Time spent finding answers to zillions of questions (e.g. who services utilities in this area? Is the oil tank decommissioned? Are those beautiful pine trees on the property healthy or potentially harmful to the property? Should we offer higher or lower than the asking price?). Well, working with Roger Paul made ALL of that time MUCH easier. He is a funny and genuine guy who is easy to spend hours touring houses with. Very quickly, he felt like a trusted friend that I had known forever. He will even tour houses that you are interested in while you are working during the week so you can scratch the real duds off the weekend tour list. He is extremely prompt to communicate and very resourceful. Regarding the zillions of questions that come up, his initiative, knowledge of the industry, and breadth of connections means that he saves you tons of time by finding the answers for you. Aside from the amount of time it takes to buy a house, it costs a lot of money! You wouldn’t guess it from Roger’s calm and gentle demeanor, but he is one hell of a negotiator! He helped us get into the house of our dreams for the price that we wanted to pay by using a variety of negotiation tactics at different times of the home buying process. If you are looking for a no-nonsense agent who will really put your best interests first and be easy to be around, Roger Paul is your guy. I don’t trust this industry at all. But I trust RP.
